What is your study goal for this year? Is English a part of your goal? What do you plan to achieve your goal?
My study goal of this year entirely depends on English. Preparing for Toefl ibt test, participating in English camp, earning allowance by tutoring and so on. In this coming summer vacation, I want to volunteer to help Korean students from abroad, introducing Seoul, help them learn Korean. And I am going to join the English camp as the assistant teacher. I can earn money by work as assistant teacher!
At usual time, I will watch dramas without subtitle, and try to memorize all the expression that used in the drama. One more thing. I will memorize 'President Address' of Bush's and Obama's. It will help me to use high level of English freely.
Tell us about your dream. What do you hope to do 10 years later?
My future goal is to become an independent and unbiased international civil servant. Here is my plan to become a one. In 2011, when I become 21, I want to go to one of the country in europe to experience lots of NGO or UN organizations as exchange students. In 2012, when I become 22, I want to go to England to study and learn English more deeply and experience England English. In 2013, when I become 23, the last year of my university life, I want to work as internship at UNESCO or UNICEF or other NGOs in Korea. In 2014, when I become 24, after I graduate university, I want to enter the international graduate school in Korea or in abroad if the financial situation allow. In 2019, when I become 29 or before 29, I want to get married. I don't care about my husband's nationality, race or age but he should be like real grown-up. In 2020, when I become 30, I want to get job at UNESCO. And I want to work for people who need me. When I become 45, I want to work for Korean Government as competent diplomat. And when I become 65, I want to retire and found a school that teaches Korean Tradition to foreigners and young students.

▶ What language areas do you think you particularly want work on to be a well qualified English teacher?
I think each area has important meaning to be a well qualified English teacher. But teaching ability is the most important qualification.Some people think that intelligent teachers are good teachers. However teaching the knowlegde is more important than knowing the knowlegde. To TEACH someone something means to make them think, feel, or act in a new or different way. Having great deal of knowledge doesn't always mean he or she can help students to understand the lecture. Forthemore, I regard having a lot of information as the basic qualification. Well qualified teacher should have great ablitiy to help student learn the knowledge.

I am so-called 'Enjoying Learner'. I like to learn things by listening to music, watching historical movies, or experiencing by myself. Of course, it is difficult to learn English. So I try not to get stressed by learning English. Instead I keep trying to enjoy learning it. So I improve my listening skill by watching my favorite English drama without subtitle. It really helped me a lot.

Actually this test did surprise me, because it really explained my personality well. I generally feel concern for what others think, which is not that independent. I always care about what other people think about me. I think this is very bad habit.

We had meeting with senior students last night just like one week ago. This time only freshmen and sophomore had attended. These day I have great time with my classmates. Korean students, including me, don't understand English conversation and can't speak even a short english word. They should be exposed to must-use-English situation. So in the future, I will train students to speak confidentally and loudly. Even his or her sentence will be grammatically wrong but I will praise them and encourage them to speak English.

[ Diary ] first meeting with seniors and classmates
Gee~
I had the first meeting with almost all of seniors and classmates last night. There were so many people at the meeting, including freshmen, coming-back students, major-changed students, transfer students, and almost all of seniors.
Unexpectedly I had really fun last night. Though I don't like to drink SOJU that much, it was interesting to meet my senior students. Because they were much older than I, and some of them already became teacher, I heard.
To talk about SOJU, I must not drink any alcohol for few month for health problem. It was hard to reject senior students' asking SOJU. But fortunately, somehow I returned to home earlier than other classmates. What a relief!!
